I am a plant lover, garden designer, and landscaper. With over 30 years experience and formally trained as a garden designer, I offer services that centre on designing, building and maintaining beautiful and practical gardens, in West Sussex and London.

Garden Design
The way I design gardens is by listening to and discussing with you how you want to use it. I will analyse the site’s characteristics, position and advise you on how to make the best use of your garden and work with nature. Most of all though, I will want to design your garden so that it doesn’t look like it has been designed, so that it looks like it has evolved naturally and gracefully, prioritising nature and plants, over man-made landscaping.
Controlled chaos is how I like to call it. But with your expectations in mind at all times.

Garden Build
Once a project is approved, you will want to get it built. My team of builders, landscapers and tree surgeons will carry out the work to the specifications agreed in the design phase.
You can of course ask someone else to do this for you, or do it yourself. I am available to advise and complement any part of the project you would want to undertake independently.

Garden Maintenance
One of the great disciplines gardening teaches you is patience and prioritising the long term (not that you have much choice !). So once your garden looks great, you will need to keep it that way. I only maintain gardens I have designed and built, which is why I always keep at the forefront of my designs the practical aspects of maintenance. Maintenance services include weeding, mowing, hedge cutting, tree surgery, fencing and all the other usual tasks that your garden will require to stay beautiful and healthy.
